最近最喜欢的一本书是 Briggs 的 Time for Lights Out，读了中文版又把英文版找出来看。太多想摘录的段落，先放开篇的这首吧。

ONCE UPON A TIME

Once upon a time,
when we were young,
stories always began

then ended
“And they lived
happily ever after.”

Now we are grown up,
stories no longer begin

as

and after
is not “ever after”
after all.
